Hadley & Greg's seaside soiree via Person + Killian

From Person + Killian: Hadley and Greg celebrated their beautiful late-summer wedding at the Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI, and it was nothing short of picture perfect. This Southern-raised bride and New England native groom were able to blend so many styles and traditions to make a unique and breathtaking wedding day that reflected their fun, care-free personalities. The Castle Hill’s location right on the Newport coast made for some great seaside pictures with the couple and their wedding party, including the adorable pug Moxie!

 

The ceremony took place on the Castle Hill Lawn, under a wooden archway overlooking the water. The small amount of cloud cover that had been lingering all day parted just as Hadley made her way down the grass aisle, and gave a beautiful golden glow to the evening ceremony. Hadley carried a gorgeous pastel bouquet, with light pink, purple and ivory roses and just a pop of bright orange. After the ceremony as the sun was setting, we grabbed some great shots of the newlyweds in front of a classic New England lighthouse on the water’s edge.

The tented reception that followed had a completely different feeling. Hadley and Greg were inspired by black and ivory, Old Hollywood and classic Film Noir themes. Their custom “H&G” monogram appeared on napkins, cookies, menus and even atop their cake. Once the party really got going, Hadley changed out of her gown and into a white flapper-inspired cocktail dress to celebrate the night away with her new husband.

We had a blast sharing this day with such a fun and easy-going couple! Congratulations Hadley and Greg!
