I have to say I am one lucky girl, my husband is the most supportive and loving husband a girl could ask for. We met in 2006 working in the hospitality industry when I was hired at a local resort as the catering sales manager and he was the executive chef customizing each unique menu inspired by our couples. So after detailing many a fairytale wedding together he finally worked up the courage to ask me if he could cook me dinner....a peek at the menu: grapes rolled in almonds and ginger, grilled scallops with lavender and basil, perfectly paired with chateau graville lacoste. We talked for hours and when he pulled out the guitar and sang to me. I mean really need I say more. We were happily married in 2009 and he is still as sweet as that first date. He is the talent behind Details with Love enjoy treats and specialty favors that come via special delivery and in our welcome bags and he continues to inspire me everyday. So today we celebrate him. Happy Birthday Honey, I love you!

From Details with Love…I love it when a couple comes to me with one lovely little detail, they envision their special day planned around and with that one thing we style their signature wedding to reflect their unique personality and love story ….when Erica came to me with her the idea; to theme a wedding around a miss American pie style I was thrilled and immediately collaborated with some of our favorite vendors to put this one together.
xoxo to all of our amazing friendors:

Below is a ‘behind the scenes’ video by the amazing and talented Artistic Wedding Video Group that will give a peek into today’s SMP photo shoot. We hope it inspires, Enjoy!
We ran with all the wonderful fun vintage Americana details of vintage charm, in a fun color palette of poppy red and robins egg blue, complete with a cute little piggy farm animal, who debuted on more than the invites! The handcrafted driftwood farm table was accented in fresh cotton linen in bold floral pattern, and poppy red and white stripes. Vintage bronzed and crystal chandeliers hung from the trees to add an element of elegance. Mason Jars filled with clusters of seasonal flowers and bringin back the pink carnations tied in vintage lace. For the good ol boys a whisky bar, complete with hand rolled cigars with custom labels (there’s that cute little piggy again!) A dessert table with locally made fresh baked apple pies (instead of a traditional wedding cake). On a warm end of summer, evening at dusk, at a charming local farm, our unique modern twist on a classic Americana style with tons of character and personality!

lovely little details - Signature wine labels
Add a personal touch and create an unforgettable keepsake - One way to customize your reception is to create a customized wine label featuring your initials, wedding date, and design motif to compliment the event decor. They make terrific table numbers at the reception and thoughtful gifts for at the rehearsal dinner or perfect for your destination Newport welcome gift bags. I encourage couples to take the time to enjoy a wine tasting together to select a wine that not only tastes delicious but also holds some personal meaning. A wonderful suggestion for a couple who met in, has family from or is heading off to Italy .....a sparkling prosecco for your toast!

Anthropologie - celebrates something new
An understated word with significant meaning charmed us. And so began, BHLDN. Inspired by the Dutch word for “to keep,” as well as countless tales from family and friends of the extraordinary weddings they’d been part of, so began something new.....
The roots are with Anthropologie, so a passion for experience and creating one-of-a-kind moments runs deep. But their offering speaks more to the not-so-everyday occasions—it is a voice that celebrates a woman’s most anticipated milestones. And one that gives tradition a twist.
